Why Travis Kelce Won’t Be Performing with Taylor Swift at the 2024 Grammys

Travis Kelce Confirms He Will Skip Grammy Awards to Prepare for Super Bowl LVIII

NFL star Travis Kelce has confirmed that he will be skipping the annual awards show to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at the Grammys. Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, expressed his desire to see Swift win every award she’s nominated for at the prestigious event.

“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for,” Kelce said during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Despite his wish to attend the Grammys, Kelce explained that he has practice on Saturday and needs to prepare for the upcoming Super Bowl, which will take place on Sunday, February 11, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Chiefs will be facing off against the San Francisco 49ers in what could be their third Super Bowl win in five years.

Fans were hoping to see Kelce and Swift make their red-carpet debut at the awards show, as the couple has been dating since summer 2023. Swift has been a supportive girlfriend, cheering on Kelce at multiple games since September 2023 and even joining him for on-field celebrations after a playoff win against the Baltimore Ravens.

While Kelce won’t be able to attend the Grammys, there is still hope that Swift will join him for the Super Bowl. Despite having a concert scheduled in Tokyo the day before the big game, Swift should be able to make it to Nevada in time for kickoff thanks to the international date line.

With the Grammys and the Super Bowl both on the horizon, fans of the couple will be eagerly awaiting updates on whether Swift will be able to make it to the big game to support her boyfriend as he competes for another championship title.
