New Documentary Series Explores Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun Feud
The highly anticipated two-part documentary series, “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood,” is set to take viewers on a deep dive into one of the most significant feuds in the music industry. Produced by Warner Bros. Discovery U.K., the series will explore the feud between pop superstar Taylor Swift and producer/manager Scooter Braun, focusing on Braun’s controversial acquisition of the rights to Swift’s albums with Big Machine Records in 2019.
Titled after one of Swift’s hit songs, “Bad Blood,” the documentary will shed light on the events that unfolded between the two parties, including Swift’s allegations that the sale of her masters was done without her consent, leading to a public dispute and Swift’s decision to re-record her albums under Big Machine Records as “Taylor’s Version.”
Scheduled for release in June on Discovery+ in the UK and Ireland, the documentary will offer a comprehensive look at both Swift’s perspective and Braun’s side of the story. Legal experts, journalists, and insiders from both camps will provide insights into the music industry, gender dynamics, and the impact of fandom.
Executive produced by Matt Reid for Warner Bros. Discovery U.K. and Ireland, and Nick Hornby and Sarah Eglin for Optomen TV, “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood” promises to be a compelling and revealing exploration of a feud that captivated the world in 2019.
