Taylor Swift Wins Award Over Boyfriend Travis Kelce

Entertainment Gossip and News: Taylor Swift Beats Boyfriend Travis Kelce at Webby Awards

The Webby Awards, known for recognizing excellence on the internet, recently saw an unexpected showdown between power couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Swift emerged victorious in the Best Creator or Influencer Collaboration category, beating out her boyfriend Kelce. While Swift collaborated with National Voter Registration Day and Vote.org, Kelce was nominated for his partnership with The Cheesecake Factory on “Fashion Icons.”

Despite coming from different entertainment realms, Swift in music and Kelce in sports, the couple found themselves competing for the same award. While Kelce may have faced defeat in this category, he did not leave empty-handed, clinching victory in two People’s Voice Awards for best co-hosts and best video series for their podcast, “New Heights.”

The Webby Awards also saw other notable winners, including Olivia Rodrigo for her album “GUTS,” Michelle Obama for “The Light Podcast,” and Timothée Chalamet for his campaign ad for Apple TV+ across three categories.

The celebrations for the winners will take place at a ceremony hosted by Amber Ruffin at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Monday, May 13. The event highlights will be shared on The Webby Awards’ Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Claire Graves, president of the Webby Awards, praised this year’s winners for their cutting-edge creativity and innovation, highlighting their efforts to entertain, help, or inform people through the internet. The Webby Awards cover 9 categories in different media types, showcasing the best-in-class creators, entrepreneurs, and companies pushing boundaries in the digital space.
