Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Sydney Sweeney, Ryan Gosling, and Timothee Chalamet are among the star-studded nominees for this year’s Webby Awards, celebrating the best internet content and creators. The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences revealed the nominees, selected from over 13,000 entries from 70 countries.

Swift received a nomination for her impactful Instagram message urging her 283 million followers to register to vote, leading to over 35,000 registrations on the nonpartisan Vote.org website. Kelce was recognized for his sports podcast “New Heights,” while Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama were nominated for their respective podcasts and work with LinkedIn.

The Webby People’s Voice Award allows fans to vote for their favorites until April 18, with winners announced on May 13 at a ceremony hosted by comedian Amber Ruffin. Other notable nominees include Sydney Sweeney collaborating with Ford Motor Company, Paris Hilton for her TikTok post, and Brett Goldstein for his podcast.

Chalamet and Gosling are up for awards in different categories, with Chalamet’s Apple TV+ ad and Gosling’s Barbie character controversy making headlines. Music video nominations feature artists like Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, and Victoria Monet.

The nominations also highlight the impact of Artificial Intelligence, with Burger King’s cheeseburger nuggets app among the contenders. Companies like PBS, Warner Bros. Discovery, Netflix, and CNN lead in nominations, with industry experts like Questlove and Roxane Gay serving as Academy members.
