Taylor Swift Releases Live Versions of Surprise Songs from Paris Shows

Taylor Swift Surprises Fans with Live Acoustic Collection from Paris Shows

Taylor Swift never fails to surprise her fans, and this time she did it by releasing live versions of three songs from her recent Paris shows. The 14-time Grammy winner performed these songs as surprise tracks during her sold-out Eras Tour shows in Paris earlier this month.

The three songs, “loml,” “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” and “The Alchemy” (mashed up with “Treacherous”), are now available in the (Live From Paris) Acoustic Collection bundles. Each bundle costs $5.99 and includes the surprise tracks along with the 16 tracks on the standard The Tortured Poets Department album.

During the Paris shows, Swift introduced a segment called “Female Rage: The Musical,” featuring seven songs from her new album. The surprise songs segment included acoustic performances of two songs each night, much to the delight of the audience.

One of the songs, “The Alchemy,” includes football puns, a nod to Swift’s NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce. Kelce, who attended the final Paris show, also got to hear another song speculated to be about him, “So High School.”

Kelce recently revealed that his favorite song from Swift’s album is “So High School.” In response to the success of the Paris shows, Swift’s company filed a trademark application for “Female Rage: The Musical.”

Fans can catch Swift in Portugal and Spain for the rest of May before she continues her Eras Tour throughout Europe this summer. The tour will conclude in London in August before Swift heads back to North America for more shows.
