Taylor Swift Dominates the Billboard Hot 100 with Top 14 Positions
Taylor Swift has once again made history by achieving one of the most record-shattering weeks in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. The pop sensation has claimed the top 14 positions on the chart dated May 4 with songs from her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” This accomplishment surpasses her previous feat of dominating the entire top 10 back in 2022 with tracks from her album “Midnights.”
Among the new chart feats for Swift, “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone has become her 12th Hot 100 No. 1, tying her for the sixth-most leaders in the chart’s archives. She also increases her career count of top 10s from 49 to 59, the most among women. In a groundbreaking move, Swift charts 32 songs on the latest list overall, the most ever in a single week by a woman.
“Fortnight” has garnered massive success with 76.2 million official streams, 31.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 19,000 sales in the U.S. from April 19-25. The single marks Swift’s ninth leader on the Streaming Songs chart and her record-extending 29th No. 1 on Digital Song Sales.
