Billboard Music Awards 2023 Finalists Announced: Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan Lead the Pack
The Billboard Music Awards 2023 finalists have been announced, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting event with some big names in the music industry leading the pack. Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan are among the top finalists, along with SZA, The Weeknd, and Drake.
Taylor Swift, who is the most decorated female BBMAs artist of all time with 29 wins, leads as a finalist in 20 categories, the most of any artist this year. With 29 previous wins, Swift could surpass Drake for most wins of all time if she wins at least five this year.
Morgan Wallen is the leading male finalist this year, with 16 nominations, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, and Top Hot 100 Artist. His album “One Thing At A Time” and his song “Last Night” are up for multiple awards.
Zach Bryan is among the first-time BBMA finalists and is up for 13 awards with 14 entries, including Top New Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Songwriter, and Top Streaming Songs Artist. His song “Something in the Orange” is a finalist for three awards.
The reimagined BBMAs will feature nine new awards this year, including Top Hot 100 Songwriter, Top Hot 100 Producer, and Top Rock Duo/Group. The awards show will air on Sunday, November 19, with winner celebrations, behind-the-scenes moments, and performances.
