Taylor Swift sweeps the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards with three major wins

In a virtual acceptance speech at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night, Taylor Swift expressed her gratitude for winning artist of the year, pop artist of the year, and favorite tour style. Despite not being present at the Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre in person, the 34-year-old superstar made a heartfelt impact with her acceptance speech.

Swift shared, “It’s completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to make the soundtrack to your life. To anyone who has included me in those choices, I’m so, so, so thankful for that. We have so many exciting things ahead of us. I’m continuing on with the tour and most importantly I have a brand new album called The Tortured Poets Department, which comes out on April 19.”

The upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, marks Swift’s first release of new material since October 2022’s Midnights, which previously won album of the year and best pop vocal album at the 2024 Grammys. In addition to her new album, Swift also released (Taylor’s Version) re-recordings of Speak Now and 1989 in 2023 as part of her career-spanning Eras Tour.

Swift has already announced the tracklist for The Tortured Poets Department, which includes 16 tracks and three variants, each featuring a different bonus track: “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” and “The Albatross.” The album also features collaborations with Post Malone on track one, “Fortnight,” and Florence + The Machine on track eight, “Florida!!!”

With her recent wins at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and the anticipation surrounding her upcoming album release, Taylor Swift continues to solidify her status as a powerhouse in the music industry. Fans can look forward to more exciting projects and collaborations from the talented artist in the near future.
