Swiftie Breaks World Record by Identifying 34 Taylor Swift Songs in Just One Minute

Dedicated Swiftie from Pakistan breaks Guinness World Record for identifying Taylor Swift songs

A dedicated Swiftie from Pakistan has made headlines by breaking a Guinness World Record for identifying 34 Taylor Swift songs from their lyrics in just one minute. Bilal Ilyas Jhandir, 20, showcased his impressive knowledge of the pop star’s discography by correctly naming the songs as their lyrics were read aloud without any accompanying music.

The record attempt featured Swift’s 50 best-selling songs arranged in random order, and Jhandir’s swift identification of 34 tracks surpassed the previous record of 27 set by Dan Simpson in 2019. Jhandir, who has been a fan of Taylor Swift since childhood, expressed his pride in achieving this feat and shared his admiration for the singer’s songwriting abilities.

This isn’t the first time Jhandir has set records related to music identification, as he previously identified the most animals from their sounds in one minute and the most Justin Bieber songs from their lyrics in one minute. However, he considers his latest accomplishment of breaking the Taylor Swift record to be the most significant.

Jhandir revealed that his favorite Taylor Swift album is “Folklore,” which he described as an “absolute masterpiece.” He praised Swift’s songwriting skills, emotional depth in her lyrics, and ability to connect with listeners on a personal level as the qualities that he admires most about the artist.

With his impressive knowledge and passion for music, Jhandir has solidified his place as a true Swiftie and a record-breaking enthusiast in the world of music trivia.
